Feng Shui and Wind Chimes

We love their sounds and the wind chimes have for long had an important place in Feng Shui. Their sound is soothing and relaxing to both your body and mind and helps you awaken to the higher energies. Wind Chimes can be used for almost anything in life from attracting a lover to finding success at work etc. Wind chimes help clear out the stagnant chi and fill your house with warmth and energy. There is nothing that energizes me more than the wind chime (and my dog). But wind chimes are great sounds to wake up to. They fill your day with a promising and positive attitude!Choosing a Wind chime is very easy. All you have to do is to remember to listen to yourself. Don’t just go out there and choose a wind chime just because you read it was great. Spend sometime meditating and then take time to choose the right wind chime for you. First off, decide what you want the wind chime for, is it just for general issues or for relationships etc. There are two major types of wind chimes available. The metal ones where the preferred number of chimes would be either 6 or 7 and then we have the wood and bamboo chimes where the lucky number is 3 or 4. You can get wind chimes basically anywhere from dollar stores to occult stores, their prices range from anywhere between $5 to $30. You don’t always have to go for the expensive ones, in fact, just go for the one whose vibration resonates your own and helps you feel peaceful, relaxed and balanced.

Now, if you are looking for a wind chime to improve your love life, choose a wind chime that has 2 or an even number of chimes, you can choose anything like a warm pink color, sounds should be soothing and relaxing. Noisy wind chimes don’t work well for relationships!! Place the wind chime in the southwest section of your house. To get along and understand your kids and vice versa you can use metal chimes, with 3 rods and place them on the west. Metal chimes work really good because one of the most common complaints kids have for us is either we are too lazy or don’t seem for them etc. Plus, kids energy from these chimes represent the vibrating and enthusiastic nature kids have. For friends and attracting helpful people in your life, use metal chimes with 5 rods in the Northwest section of your house. For general family issues use bamboo chimes with 4 rods in the east.

To attract good luck, money and prosperity, use a bamboo chime with 8 rods in the southeast. Glass chimes work best when it comes to getting and maintaining your dream job.

It is rather easy to choose a wind chime for the health area, just use any! This will be in the center of your house.

That being said, one more thing to note, I don’t recommend metal chimes for winter. Use deep resonating wood or bamboo chimes that are calm and peaceful and soothing. They will work very well with the low energy of the season!

Now, remember to keep your chimes personal and important to you, take time to appreciate and meditate! Using your energy to ‘charge’ the chime works very well. So once you go buy a chime, try telling yourself and the chime what it is for…Something like I am confident that you will help me attract the right friends in my life, thank you for your help, I have full trust in your power and love for me.
