We are very pleased to annouce that we have launched a special charity store for Africa. This store is stocked with spiritual books, CDs, Pagan items, pagan jewelry, Hindu items and Hindu Jewelry and everthing for your needs. This store is indeed, an Amazon store. However, here is the other half of the story.

Amazon.com pays an affiliate referral money to spiritualblessing when you buy an item from our store. I am putting that money into iCare, which is our homegrown fundraiser for easing the pain of AIDS in Africa.

100% of the referral money I get from amazon.com goes directly to charity.

Therefore, I request you all to please use our store if you plan on doing any shopping online! There are many other links to look at, if you cannot find the item you are looking for at the amazon.com store.

Please remember EVERY cent counts! EVERY cent is a step forward.

In the time you have spent reading this, 6 people have just died of AIDS. The situation is unthinkable therefore I have started this small charity to do what I can.

Credibility

In the 2 years that I have been running Spiritualblessing (as an MSN group and then as the website), I could have made over $300,000 but I chose not to. Spiritualblessing is not a source of income for me, even the ads here go to paying the website's monthly bills. I think this fact itself speaks for the charity shop's credibility. But, if you choose to believe that we are not credible, do as you wish! Spirit takes care of how much we raise.

I do not use any amount donated from here for tax purposes. I have no problem paying my taxes. Giving is not truly giving unless given without expecting anything back therefore no, you cannot use this for tax purposes.

In the past, how much have has this shop raised for charity?

This shop is very new. We just launched this, June 20, 2006. As such, we have not made any donations yet. However, we will keep you updated on this! I will post proofs of our payments as we make them.

I do not want to buy anything, how can I contribute?

If you do not want to buy anything, you can still let your friends know or you can donate directly to Stephen Lewis Foundation or Doctors Without Borders, or any other charity of your choice.

Do you take direct donations?

No, we do not take direct donations because there are a lot of other charities that already do. Some of our favorites are the Stephen Lewis Foundation and Doctors Without Borders, donating to them is easy and you might also get a tax rebate from them if that is what you are looking for.
